Terms of use

Plain language, real commitments. These terms govern your use of the dedendum.ai marketing site. Product usage is governed by the Master Service Agreement (MSA) signed before any paid engagement.

Who we are

Dedendum AI is a product of Giga Software Solutions Inc. ("Dedendum," "we," "us"), a Canadian corporation registered in British Columbia, with its principal office in Vancouver, BC.

Scope of these terms

These terms apply to your use of the dedendum.ai marketing website, including all pages, content, and the demo sandbox. Product service terms for paid customers are governed by the Dedendum Master Service Agreement (MSA), which is signed separately before any pilot or subscription begins. Where the MSA and these terms conflict, the MSA controls.

Use of this site

This site is informational. Browsing it does not create a commercial relationship, an obligation to purchase, or a contractual commitment of any kind. The interactive demo uses a sandboxed tenant with synthetic data and does not access any real customer data.

Intellectual property

All content on this site (text, design, illustrations, code, the Dedendum name and brand mark) is owned by Giga Software Solutions Inc. or used under license. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. You may reference or link to this site for legitimate business purposes.

Your content stays yours

Voice recordings, transcripts, structured knowledge items, queries, and any other data inside a customer tenant belong to that tenant. Dedendum does not use tenant content to train foundation models. We do not claim ownership of any customer data. Aggregate product telemetry (counts, latencies, error rates, never content) is retained for service improvement.

Acceptable use

The Dedendum service is designed for operational knowledge capture in industrial contexts. You agree not to use the service to: evade workplace safety procedures or regulatory compliance obligations; violate collective bargaining agreements or employment law; store or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or algorithms; exceed reasonable usage limits or interfere with service availability for other tenants.

Account security

If you create an account (for the product or the demo), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We use email-based authentication with TOTP for internal staff, and all access is logged to an append-only audit trail.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Uptime commitments for paid customers are defined in the MSA and associated Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Disclaimer of warranties

This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dedendum disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Dedendum is a knowledge capture and retrieval tool and does not replace professional engineering judgment, safety procedures, or regulatory compliance obligations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Giga Software Solutions Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of this site or the Dedendum service, regardless of the theory of liability. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed CAD $500 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. For paid customers, the liability cap in your MSA supersedes this clause.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Giga Software Solutions Inc. from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the service, except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

Third-party links

This site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

Dispute resolution

Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved through direct conversation.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to this site or the demo sandbox at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users or to Dedendum. For paid subscriptions, termination terms are governed by the MSA.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify active customers by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
